How to play
These are the default PC keys (New layout: K shoots). You can switch to Classic or custom bindings inside the game settings. On a phone, use the on-screen stick and buttons. The same match engine powers Story, Career, Player Career, World Cup, Chains, and Infinite.
Hold J/Z or K/X to charge a stronger pass or shot. Space fires the selected special technique. In Player Career, A/B asks a teammate for the ball. Mobile: left-half stick (past the ring = sprint); right buttons change with possession.
Every mode in Inazuma Rogue returns to the same pitch: a timed five-a-side match where you control one player, spend special techniques, and either win the fixture or keep a roguelite run alive. Menus decide the season plan; the match decides whether that plan survives.

The game

Inazuma Rogue is a free fan-made football game you can play in the browser. Searchers also call it inazuma eleven rogue or an inazuma roguelike. The pitch is real-time five-a-side football with special techniques, not a turn-based menu duel. Between matches the game stacks Story runs, school Career seasons, a single-player Player Career, World Cup tournaments, short Chains, Infinite waves, a gacha collection, and a long achievement list.
The shared idea is simple. You pick a mode from the hub, prepare a five-player side, then drop into a live match where movement, passes, tackles, shots, and techniques decide the score. If the mode is a roguelite path, a loss costs a life or ends the attempt. If the mode is Career, a bad week hits form, fame, or your starting place. That mix is why people search for Inazuma Rogue as both a football game and a roguelite.
Progress stays in the browser by default. Optional account cloud save exists inside the game if you sign in there. English and Spanish are available under Settings → Language. Inazuma Eleven is owned by Level-5. This project is not affiliated with Level-5 or Nintendo. The playable build opens in the frame on this page.
Modes

The main menu is a hub, not a single campaign button. Story is the first long path most players should clear, because Stage 1 unlocks Player Career, Chains, and Infinite. Manager Career and World Cup sit beside that path as season-long goals. Gacha and Achievements sit on the side as collection and checklist pressure. When a limited event such as Cadena Leyenda is active, it appears as its own fifteen-match gauntlet.
Story is the clearest roguelite loop. You bring a drafted five, spend lives across a tournament route, and after each win you pick a temporary upgrade such as a technique, a skill, or a short-term signing. Those boosts vanish when the attempt ends, but clearing a stage permanently unlocks the next content. Stage 1 starts the Football Frontier style climb. Later stages push into Alius Academy era fixtures and Inazuma 3 routes. Difficulty can be set to Easy, Normal, or Hard before a Story draft begins.
Manager Career puts you in charge of a school club across three divisions. Each week you train, scout, play or simulate the match, and manage transfers, including overseas options. Starters rise or fall with match ratings. Players graduate after year six and the youth intake replaces them. Fame matters: if it hits zero, the club closes. Winning leagues, the cup, or promotions pays gacha tickets. Every three seasons, a strong club can feed into the World Cup as Inazuma Japan’s selector.
Player Career is the opposite camera. You create a footballer around overall 45, or you pick someone from your collection, then live week by week. You only control that one player on the pitch and call for the ball with A/B. Weekly training can raise stats, practice a technique, or rest. Match marks grant experience; level-ups add stat points and technique choices. After three seasons you graduate into an endless Pro League with invented clubs such as Barcelona Atlètic, Madrid Imperial, and Milano Calcio. Strong runs also open friends, rivals, off-pitch decisions, mini 1v1 challenges, Rookie of the Year, and Ballon d’Or style awards.

Roster

Inazuma Rogue ships with a very large fan roster. The data set includes more than two thousand five hundred player entries across goalkeeper, defender, midfielder, and forward roles, plus dozens of school and national style teams and hundreds of named techniques. Familiar faces such as Mark Evans, Axel Blaze, and Jude Sharp appear alongside deeper cuts, alternate versions from later games, and event rewards that do not always sit in the normal gacha pool.
Each player carries a role, an element, base stats for shot, physique, control, defense, speed, and stamina, and a move list that grows as you train or raise stars. Elements matter when techniques clash. Rarity tags from common through legendary decide how hard a card is to pull and how valuable duplicates are for star upgrades. Raimon Bolts can force a star without waiting for another copy, which is why Chains and event clears matter even after your first eleven looks finished.
Teams in the database cover classic school rivals such as Royal Academy, Zeus, Occult, Kirkwood, and Wild, plus later-era sides tied to Story stages. Manager Career also invents Pro League clubs once a Player Career graduate leaves school football. World Cup call-ups pull from your club and from the strongest league sides, so a deep collection is not only a binder: it is how you fill two full fives for national duty.

Gameplay
A match is real-time five against five. You move one controlled player with WASD or the arrows, sprint with Shift, pass or tackle with J/Z, shoot or switch with K/X, dribble with I/V, and fire the selected special with Space. Hold pass or shoot to charge power. E cycles techniques. Goalkeepers can use L/C for a long throw. Pause with P or Esc. On a phone, the left half of the screen is a stick; push past the ring to sprint, and use the right pad for pass, shoot, dribble, switch, and technique.
Techniques are the Inazuma Eleven signature inside this fan game. The catalog holds hundreds of named moves with English labels such as Grenade Shot. You equip a short list before kickoff, then spend them when the angle is right. A charged shot into a crowded box often beats a panic tap. On defense, the pass key becomes a tackle, so timing a steal matters as much as timing a finish. Switching early keeps you near the ball instead of stranded on a forward while a midfielder is pressed.
Modes wrap that match in different stakes. Story and Infinite punish a lost fixture with lives. Manager Career turns the same pitch into form, fame, and promotion math. Player Career asks whether your single footballer earned a start, learned a technique that week, and kept friends who pass more often. World Cup asks whether your ten-player call-up can cover a group, a semi, and a final with penalties if needed. Learn the keys once, then reuse them across every mode listed above.

|---|---|---|

| Match | Control only your player; A/B call for the ball | Rating → XP and form |

Tip
Clear Story Stage 1 early. That single clear opens Player Career, Chains, and Infinite, which is where most of the long-term roster pressure lives. Treat Story upgrades as temporary tools for the attempt, not as permanent power, and bank the permanent unlock instead.
Spend early tickets on collection depth, then chase stars for the five you actually start. Raimon Bolts from Chains and events are more valuable on nearly maxed legends than on random commons. In manager Career, protect fame and keep a plan for graduation years so one bad youth cycle does not empty the starting five.
In Player Career, train techniques on schedule, ask for the ball before you spam shot, and use friends and rivals once they appear. A motivated match against a rival club, or a cleaner pass network from friends, often matters more than one raw overall point.
